Seadrift's first computer 1961
46 years ago everything was shiny and new. It was the Olefins II start-up. Construction had just finished and everything was still and quiet, only the pneumatic instruments could be heard hissing. Behind the control room was a room full of glistening cabinets containing the world's first process control computer, a Daystrom Model 046 .
